Evelyn Grace Kite is an American actress with a rare combination of instinct, emotional depth, and unmistakable screen presence. Known for her distinctive raspy alto voice, "one-take" precision, and remarkably easy emotional access, Evelyn has an ability to connect to a character's emotional world quickly and authentically—often delivering complex material with an instinctive understanding well beyond her years.

Evelyn first gained industry attention with her award-winning Best Lead Actress performance in the feature Elijah Peel (2026), followed by a notable appearance on the ABC procedural 9-1-1: Nashville (2026). She next expands her feature-film work with a lead role opposite Amy Madigan, Ed Harris, and Gayle Rankin in the upcoming feature Ashley Wright, written and directed by Nolan and Logan Miller. Her range extends into comedy with The Naughty List (2026), where she showcases sharp comedic timing alongside veteran actor and comedian Jim O'Heir.

Gayle Rankin To Topline Indie ‘Ashley Wright’ From Logan & Noah Miller; Amy Madigan, Ed Harris Among Others Set

EXCLUSIVE: Gayle Rankin (House of the Dragon) has wrapped a lead role in Ashley Wright,an indie also starring Evelyn Grace Kite (Elijah Peel), Weapons Oscar winner Amy Madigan, Golden Globe winner Ed Harris (Westworld), Steven Ogg (The Walking Dead), Michole Brianna White (BMF), and Lily Harris.

Directed by Logan & Noah Miller (Touching Home), Ashley Wright stars Rankin as a homeless mother of two kids trying to scrape out a sense of dignity in a world that’s working against her.

Kite plays Ashley’s nine-year-old daughter Peanut, with Madigan as Donna Terry, her court-appointed attorney, who advocates for her to retain custody of her children. Ed Harris plays Judge Allen, a sympathetic judge presiding over Ashley’s child custody hearing, while Lily Harris plays Peanut’s court-appointed attorney, Jessica Steiner.
